Gene McLain

Gene joined Nationwide Search Group in 2011 and brings over 30 years of experience in sales, sales management, national accounts, government accounts and team development in the medical device industry. In his career, spent mostly at Medtronic Physio Control and Laerdal Medical Corporation, he assumed consistently ascending responsibilities including Vice President and Director level positions with an extremely strong track record of strategic and tactical goal achievement.

Through his tenure in the industry, Gene has developed deep and lasting relationships with key organizations and individuals at all levels on both the provider and business sides of the industry. His broad experience has provided him with an acute understanding of the culture of the medical device industry and of the success factors needed in a candidate to positively impact those organizations in pursuit of their goals. His tenure has also created a significant network in the industry to locate, recruit and develop strong consideration for candidates for opportunities.

Gene obtained his Baccalaureate degree from Rockford College in 1973. He and his wife Margie, a Nurse Educator have three children and live at Lake Wynonah, PA.
